At our last board meeting we decided to write a brief note to our residents. Our neighborhood is lovely, and we believe it is the best neighborhood in Wichita. The original intention in establishing a homeowners' association, decades ago, was to help protect the neighborhood's integrity. This remains the intention of the current Bonnie Brae board. We want to ensure that our neighborhood stays a great place to live by keeping it clean and safe. We also want to bring the neighborhood together by having community events. In a recent meeting with our City Council-member, Sue Schlapp, she said that a neighborhood that cares as much as we do is rare.
